Recording at Sage and Sound in Hollywood with recording Engineer Phil Sheridan. He always used these small Auratone monitors to record The Boss Brass and other great recordings. He listened with soft volume and always got it right. In this photo we are recording direct to digital the Guido Basso Quartet (1986). He mixed while recording!! In this same studio Chet Baker recorded many tracks.
