I had the privilege of being Sam Most’s close friend for several decades. He was my flute idol and we collaborated in some nice projects ranging from live gigs (I play piano and flute) to recording productions with a full string orchestra in London, a documentary movie, a group or a solo flute album, like this one.

For this project we went to Multimedia Music in Hollywood under the wizardry of recording engineer Mark Vincent. We ordered a veggie pizza and started to record tunes invented by Sam based on the chords of some standards which I will not mention here. When we had enough songs we ended the session. Since it was only one instrument, it was already mixed.

Talented designer Maria Puga Lareo made a cover which I happen to like a lot and we uploaded this digital disc. As I always say… Enjoy!!!
